On February 24, Russia launched a large-scale attack on neighboring Ukraine, invading the country on several fronts. As a result, more than one million Ukrainians have fled their homes in search of safety, with many more expected to follow. Working at a 24-hour pedestrian border crossing in southern Poland, WCK began serving hot, nourishing meals immediately. Now, we've expanded our efforts to serve people across the region in Romania, Moldova, and Hungary. WCK is also partnering with restaurants inside of Ukraine to get hot meals to anyone in need.

Since our founding, WCK has provided tens of millions of fresh, nourishing meals for communities in need around the world. Your donation today will be used to support our emergency food relief efforts.

Can I donate using PayPal?: There are two ways to donate with PayPal. 1) Donate directly to @worldcentralkitchen from your PayPal account. (fees will apply, and we receive the money immediately) 2) Donate to PayPal Giving Fund, a 501(c)(3) charity. PayPal covers the fees, we receive the funds within 15-45 days. https://wck.org/paypal Please note PayPal Giving fund will email your tax receipt.
Can I donate using cryptocurrency?: Yes, World Central Kitchen accepts donations in cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin and others. To donate using crypto, Go to wck.org/crypto
Are there other ways to give?: World Central Kitchen accepts donations via stock, ACH, wire transfer, qualified charitable distributions (QCD) from an IRA and donor-advised funds. For full details on other ways to give, please visit: https://wck.org/en-us/donate
Will I get a receipt?: A donation receipt will be sent to you at the email address you provide on the donation form. Keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each month when your donation is processed.
Is this donation tax deductible?: Yes! World Central Kitchen is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. Keep your email donation receipt as your official record. Our EIN number is: 27-3521132.
Can I dedicate my donation to someone?: Yes! To dedicate your donation in honor or memory of a loved one, colleague, or friend, click the checkbox next to "Dedicate my donation in honor or in memory of someone" located below the amount selection boxes. The first and last name of your honoree are required fields. You will also have the option to input contact information and a message to the recipient, which will be automatically sent upon completion of your transaction.
How do I specify a donation amount that is not already listed?: You can indicate any donation amount simply by clicking 'Other' in the Select an Amount field. A field will pop up where you can enter your preferred donation amount.
What are the fees associated with my donation?: For each credit card transaction, our payment processor - Classy Pay powered by Stripe - charges 2.2% + $0.30 transaction fee for Visa, Mastercard, and Discover; An additional 1% fee is added for American Express; An additional 1% fee is added for international payments. There is a Classy fee of 2% on all transactions.

Is my donation secure?: Yes. The security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. We use industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology to protect your information and provide a safe and secure environment for online donations. We will not sell, trade or share your personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, and we will only share personal information if you have given us specific permission to do so.

When relief efforts conclude in a region, what happens to a monthly or restricted donation?: Once a specific relief activation has concluded, recurring monthly and restricted donations are allocated to current relief efforts and our resilience programs.
Can I donate goods to World Central Kitchen?: No. World Central Kitchen is unable to accept unsolicited goods.
Can I split my gift between specific relief efforts?: All donations are used to support current relief efforts and reliance programs. We are unable to split your online donation between specific relief efforts.
